About the ACS International Center™
The mission of the ACS International Center™ is to ensure that chemical professionals are prepared to engage successfully in the global chemical enterprise and address global challenges.
From the ACS Vision: "The SOCIETY shall cooperate with scientists internationally and shall be concerned with the worldwide application of chemistry to the needs of humanity.” -Article II, Section 3 of the ACS Constitution.
The Worldwide application of chemistry to the needs of humanity will be met through the effective cooperation of scientists in the international community. The ACS International Center seeks to help you achieve this by providing you with vetted, curated information on globally focused funding, training and collaboration opportunities. The ACS International Center will also provide a venue for International Center Affiliates and other partners to reach out to the community directly to encourage participation in global collaboration space.
Before engaging in any program, it is recommended that you speak to the administration at your organization to determine if there are any concerns regarding the unethical use of intellectual property or disregard of safety precautions. The International Center would also like to note that it is strictly intended to be a resource for information, and does not favor nor endorse specific programs or institutions.
