The Sofia Kovalevskaja Award, offered by the Humboldt Foundation, enables top junior researchers from outside of Germany to spend up to five years working on a high-profile, innovative project of his/her choosing. The research will take place at a prestigious Germany university. The award is valued up to €1.6 million. Scientists and scholars from all disciplines may apply.

Eligibility: Successful applicants will be published in prestigious academic journals and have completed his/her PhD in the last six years.
